Sevenhill Cellars
The historic Sevenhill Cellars is one of Australia’s oldest wineries. It was established in 1851 by the Society of Jesus. At first, it produced sacramental wines, but now it is renowned for its premium table wines.
You’ll find many spiritual sites at the Cellars. They include the historic stone winery, stately St Aloysius’ Church and surrounding vineyards. There’s also an underground cellar and ample space for picnicking.
The winery produces a wide range of wines including grenache, shiraz and riesling. Several types of fortified wines are available as well. Visitors can try cheese platters.
